What is a worker?
Workers are team members who submit timesheets—contractors, freelancers, or employees tracking billable hours. Tenant admins, managers, and client approvers do not count as workers and are always unlimited.
Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. If you're a solo consultant with one worker and one client, BillByTime is completely free with no time limits. When you need more workers, paid seats also unlock unlimited clients.
Can I add or remove workers anytime?
Absolutely. You can add worker seats instantly through the billing portal, and they'll be prorated. When removing seats, your subscription adjusts at the next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through Stripe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription from the billing portal. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period, then revert to the free plan.
